These are a few random thoughts in just a few mins’ time…

One year ago

One year ago, you were living.

You were skydiving any chance you got.

Kind of obsessed, delirious,

happiest when up high, high in the sky.

Enjoying yourself, enjoying life.

One year ago, you had 4 days to live.

I think of you now, and know I love you.

I think of you, and feel your love.

I read once, recently, when someone passes,

they no longer communicate the way we do,

their language is energy,

watch for it and you will see,

you are in a store that plays music,

a favorite song of hers comes on. Not once,

but two, three times, how many signs do we need??

Your sign to me is life itself,

I can hardly, now, kill a fly,

I don’t want to smash a gnat,

All life is precious, we are all connected,

Life matters. All of it.

What we do with ours, matters too,

and none of us knows our time.

Doing something for someone else

without expecting a return,

gives you that sense of knowing peace,

this is something I have learned.
