Return to hospital: May 19

Day 7 since surgery:

The world keeps turning,
Days melt into other days,
Pain meds kicking in.

Had to return home,

every fiber of my being

wanted to remain.

Get some sleep, my love,

This never-ending nightmare

will soon go away.
